We huddled under the bridge waiting for the wind and heavy rain to pass. This is not usually the description for most engagement sessions, but Julianna and Andrew were awesome despite the unexpected weather. We had just decided to find a dry place before the downpour began. Luckily, the rain clouds passed relatively quickly, and we were able to continue laughing and looking for more fun spots. I’m often reminded of how beautiful Richmond is, and how photo opportunities literally abound around most every corner. And yet the footbridge to Belle Isle always stuns me with that gorgeous, scenic look at the city and river side by side. These two made my job so fun with their natural laughter and ease in front of the camera. I enjoyed hearing how they met, fell for each other, and stepped into this grand new adventure together. I can’t wait for their wedding in August!
